Beautiful and high quality. I had a case already so got this one for my partner and she loves it
Very happy with this phone case. Map of PDX cut into a piece of cherry with a laser! Only thing that could make it better would be if the laser was attached to a shark.
I paid $25 and the case beautiful! It’s not a squishy rubber case so maybe not the best shock absorption from high drops but It does provide decent protection and has a raised lip for the screen. I happy with my purchase
Hello, folks -
I really like the work you did to achieve the laser engraving, and particularly love that the patina on the wood gets richer the more I handle the phone case, as I'd hoped.
I imagine the slim profile is appealing to some, but I prefer fatter bumpers on the corners and over the lip of the glass surface. I ended up cutting the rubber rim off of my previous phone case and attached it (see pic in follow-up email).
Thanks for your work! Most of all, I like that you're local to me.

I purchased the PDX map case for the Google Pixel 3. The wood engraving and overall workmanship is of very high quality. However, the power/volume button overlays are the Achilles heel. They are tiny, nearly impossible to distinguish by feel, and offer very little tactile feedback when pushed. I reached out to Rustek about this issue, and received a very prompt, classy, and informative response. I learned that Rustek buys case blanks from a third party vendor, creates and applies the wood inlay, and sells the finished product. As such, they have almost no control over things like the button overlays. Based upon the product pictures on this site, their iPhone cases have dedicated button overlays that apparently don't suffer this affliction. If you have an iPhone or don't care much about button feel through the case, these are a fantastic option. Extra kudos for Rustek's customer service!
