We're Hiring: Embroidery & Sewing Tech

You read that right! We're looking for a part-full time Embroidery and Sewing technician, to lead embroidery and patch sewing production for our lines of headwear and apparel! Some degree of sewing or embroidery experience strongly preferred. Some training is available, but compensation will be based on experience, and we are looking for someone with experience. This is a great opportunity for an organized, self motivated individual who loves to work with their hands to really take ownership of the position and excel with plenty of room to grow to a management position.

 

Primary duties of the position will include: Management and execution of production embroidery (using Tajima embroidery machine) and patch sewing (using post bed sewing machine) for beanies and baseball caps, production planning to meet deadlines, troubleshooting and maintenance of the machines, basic inventory management, design manipulation and process implementation.

 

The ideal candidate will be organized, self starting and eager to learn new skills and systems. Ability to self manage, communicate clearly and effectively with the team, and remain organized while managing dozens of complex orders and projects to completion are fundamental requirements for success in this position. Above all else, we are looking for someone with a mind for building streamlined systems and constantly improving results. At the end of the day, we’re a tight knit, small team, and duties will shift as weekly and monthly needs change, every week presents different challenges and projects, so we’re looking for someone who is eager to rise to the challenges of different projects to best meet the changing needs of the business week by week. Additional duties could include but not limited to laser cutter operation and management, outsourcing/vendor management, inventory and facilities management, event setup and.... whatever comes up! 

 

Hours are flexible and will vary weekly, minimum 30 hours, up to 40hrs/week. Willing to accommodate minimum/maximum hour requirements. Competitive hourly pay.
