Introducing CorkFlex

Constructed from cork and bamboo, Corkflex brims are softer, lighter and more comfortable than plastic brims. The only thing you’ll wonder is why plastic hats are still a thing.

As always, your Rustek hat is

  • Made From Plants, Not Plastic

Until now, all hats were made with plastic. We didn’t think that was cool, so we decided to do something about it.

  • 100% Renewable

Made exclusively from the most renewable resources on earth. Cork, bamboo, hemp and organic cotton.

  • Two Trees Planted

To make sure your hat gives back to the planet more than it takes to make, we’re planting two trees for every one!

Excellent hat

Comfortable, nice looking, love the material. Light and breathable. You might get better sun protection from a heavier fabric, but there are other hats for that. I'd definitely buy another Rustek.

My new summer hat

Love this Oswald cotton cap! It’s super comfortable, light-weight, and looks great. Glad to add this to my growing collection of Rustek hats.

Pretty darn good.

Before this hat, I had a linen cap, but the company stopped making it. Plus, it turned out that one had a plastic brim. This hat, while its fabric is thicker and not as airy, has been pretty good. I wear it when I'm outside for work, and it just happens to be a close color match to my Wool & Prince linen-wool dress shirt, so that's a bonus.
> A couple of things to note: I don't have a perfectly round head, so it's not a perfect fit, but I guess I wouldn't expect it to be. I would like to see a sliding pivot point or keeper loop on the back right side; when cinching the strap down for a smaller head, this would give the extra fabric somewhere to go so a loop doesn't stick out and instead lays flat. Also, the brim is kind of flimsy. You can't really form it into a classic bend; it tends to fall somewhere between flat and a slight curve. Didn't brims used to be cardboard why is this one cork and Bamboo?

Very Soft Hat!

The hat is extremely soft and comfy, the shape and style of the hat doesn’t fit my particular head shape the best but the hat is high quality and accurately pictured! If you like the style I would recommend it.
