Public lands belong in public hands -- forever. This is our land, and its not for sale - not for development, not for mining and logging, not to settle a balance sheet.

It’s time to stand up and tell those who’ve never spent a night outside to keep their hands off of our land. Join us in making our voices heard. Write your senator, donate if you can, and tell your friends how to take action.

We will be donating 5% of sales from this collection to nonprofits working to save our public lands.

Additionally, we have added a link in the 'More' dropdown above, where you can write your senators, telling them to oppose the sale of our public lands.

Designed by @notkaelo

Made in Canada from sturdy but lightweight 100% Organic Cotton "Duck" canvas, and featuring signature Tencel embroidery with a real wool felt appliqué, the organic cotton canvas strapback is rugged, comfortable and naturally awesome.

Introducing CorkFlex

Constructed from cork and bamboo, Corkflex brims are softer, lighter and more comfortable than plastic brims. The only thing you’ll wonder is why plastic hats are still a thing.

As always, your Rustek hat is

  • Made From Plants, Not Plastic

Until now, all hats were made with plastic. We didn’t think that was cool, so we decided to do something about it.

  • 100% Renewable

Made exclusively from the most renewable resources on earth. Cork, bamboo, hemp and organic cotton.

  • Two Trees Planted

To make sure your hat gives back to the planet more than it takes to make, we’re planting two trees for every one!

Sustainably perfect!

I’ve gotten a couple of compliments on it already! The first day like any new cotton hat it was a little itchy and that’s the only negative thing I have to say for it. I can’t get over the cork brim — it’s the feature I make everyone feel. I just summited my 14th 14er in it. I like that it still seems breathable and can handle a variety of weather (rain and heat) plus sweat. I’m excited to continue breaking it in!

Great Cap!!

I am a big fan of the cork brim. It’s well made and was comfortable right out of the box. Plant some trees please! I would buy another one right away but I try not to consume too much so I will wait till this one is good and worn. Hope you’re all still in the biz by then. Thanks✌🏼
